Trying to Get Pregnant

Posted earlier

I know I posted this earlier. Thanks for the feedback but I'd like to hear what other's have experienced as well.

It's making me a little anxious.

Today my temperature shot up so I'm guessing (and I know I won't know for sure until it stays up for 3 consecutive days) that I ovulated yesterday. My cycles are usually between 26-28 days so that would make sense. Yesterday I took 3 OPK's and all were very close to being positive but not quite. This morning I took one and the test line was right away darker than the control line, so it was 100% positive. Also, I usually have a ton of EWCM. This month I only had some yesterday. I haven't noticed any EWCM today yet. Any thoughts on this?

I just took another OPK and both lines are completely equal.

Has anyone O'ed before and then gotten positive OPK's after?

Re: Posted earlier

  • This didn't require a repost...there is nothing that critical here.  Wait and see...your temp may drop tomorrow..it may not.

  • Yeah, definately just has my mind working overtime.

  • I'm not sure why you're anxious. Keep humping until ovulation is confirmed. I think you're getting down in the weeds about this.

Ahh, you are right. Sometimes I feel like TTC makes my mind think the worst if it's not exactly what I expect it to be. Thanks for snapping me out of it! Embarrassed

It looks like you'll have your bases this covered! And I get the generalized anxiety.

  • You're lucky you don't have my cycles.  This cycle I O'd on day 19.  Last cycle it was day 31 and the one before that was day 47.  You're in for a rough ride if you're already anxious at this point.  The key to TTC is patience.  The only thing you can do is wait it out.  GL!  BTW, lots of people get a + OPK after they actually O.  Your temps are a way better confirmation of O.

Tongue Tied Sorry, completely understand. That definately seems like it would be frustrating. Good Luck! P.S. I want your dog, I LOVE boxers!

I think I get anxious because I had HPV and had to get the leep proceedure. So that's ALWAYS at the forefront of my mind, even though I know others have had the same thing and had completely healthy pregnancies.

He's the best and we would get another boxer in a heartbeat.

As for the HPV, I can understand your concern.  I am a worrier too, but it did me a lot of good to chart and to be patient.  Charting is one of the best ways for me to stay calm, so you're already heading in the right direction.  GL!
