If your child swallows a rock bigger than the size of a pea they need to be taken in for an X-ray immediately to make sure the rock is not stuck in the esophagus and is in their tummy. Even though DD was acting totally fine after she ate the rock we still had to take her to get an X-ray. 23 hours later she pooped the rock out. Huge sigh of relief!!!
