My husband and I have been TTC since August. According to all the ovulation charts, and my own FAM charting, we were right on the money with a potential conception time. It's now Sept 30th, and I should have started yesterday or the day before. I am feeling anxious, but nervous to take a prego test and be disappointed. I don't have any symptoms really, just tired--but I'm a high school teacher, so what's new.
Is it too early to tell? Should we just keep waiting? Last month, I was right on time, 28 days, and this month I'm off. My temp is still high, and normally the day I'm going to start it drops. Any suggestions?
Re: Feeling Anxious...
Agree.
Also, if you just started TTC in August, it is too early to worry, it takes a healthy couple up to a year to conceive.
If you aren't charting, you could have ovulated late. It would explain a BFN and no period.
Please for the love of goodness, don't call yourself spaghetti sauce. It's pregnant.
GL on testing!
This.
Maybe I should have added that I couldn't track my temp well because I was sick with a sinus infection for part of the month so I can't tell how long I've had a high temp. that's where I'm thrown off...I'm not looking for someone to tell me I'm prego, just wanted some advice/support/encouragement.
thanks
Sorry about your BFN today. I keep stalking you hoping to see good news. Your temps are looking good. Fingers are crossed.
What is BFN? and POAS? sorry I don't know the lingo! :-)
I am stuck at school for now, probably won't test till tomorrow morning--morning is best right?
BFN = Big Fat Negitive, POAS = Pee on a stick.
ETA: Yes, FMU (first morning urine) is best.
BFN=big fat negative
POAS=pee on a stick
There is a glossary on the left. Also, just so you don't get flamed, try not to use the word Prego, other bumpies will tell you it is a sauce. Using PG and pregnant - you will be taken more seriously.
If you do get your BFP (big fat postive), early congrats! If not, lurk a bit here and you will learn a lot.
Good luck!
