Carley and Colby are just okay for me. But I will say I don't think Colby looks like Cally.

Carly is the spelling I think is the most correct. I would avoid an yooneek/cutesie spellings (the kid has to grow up someday).
Colby is becoming more popular. I still think of it as a cheese, but it's a decent name compared to the other trendy names out there.

If you're doing "just Carly," I think that's the best way to spell it (Carly).
However, I knew a Carlena who went by Carle.
