  I have done this too.  It works.  Just try to keep your hands away from your mouth and you should be fine

  Yikes! I get them on my lip and they hurt.  Hope you have something strong to calm it down.

  Here is mine...It's NOT COOL that I still have spotting and cramps long after my period stopped.  My dr and I are going to have to have a serious disscussion.

  Toothpaste works wonders Also, if you are thinking it might be a cold sore, abreva works too.  Just don't touch it!  Your pictures will turn out fabulously!

  I have one too! (Actually I have quite a few all over... grr...) Hope you find a remedy and/or some good coverup in time for your family pic!

  Oh, I hate those things! I hope it clears up before your pictures! Have you tried campho-phenique? That's some good stuff, but it dries up my entire lip! haha!

  FYI I tried the toothpaste trick when I was in high school (just a tiny dab, and just overnight). It made a HUGE awful dry, scabby patch where I'd put it. It was awful- much worse than the zit, and it took forever to heal back up. Just saying- be careful...

  (although, I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to fluoride, so maybe that's why I reacted so badly)
