Gift Question :WHAT IS THE HOT THING RIGHT NOW ?? My nieces mom told me "oh just get her a doll " ...seriously I want a good present .If it is a doll what kind ?? TIA !!!
My DD is 8. She started collecting American Girl dolls at that age though and she still loves them. She has one that is a "Just Like Me" doll and 2 of the history dolls (which come with really neat historical fiction books about when the girls lived and their lives).
Well I have a 6 year old, will be 7 in January. I am just as stumped. The only things she has asked for for Christmas was an Ipad, which I quickly vetoed, or an Itouch.
She is really does not play with toys much anymore. She does like to read, and art supplies are always a hit. Markers, crayons, colored pencils, construction paper, stickers, etc.
My DD is into Little Pet Shops and Build-A-Bears. You can buy the build-a-bear unstuffed and bring it in later. Those silly bands are the big thing too. The yare those rubber band bracelets that come in different shapes. They also make them in rings.
My DD is almost 6 and very into LPS and barbie or Polly.. My FIL got DD a dr barbie who has twin babies for her bday as I had just found out I was preg.. she loves it! I am getting her a mobigo for xmas..

My nieces are obsessed with Hannah Montana, the Littlest Pet Shop, and board games. Anytime they come over it's nonstop "Can we play Mall Madness, Can we play Pretty Pretty Princess, can we play Dream Phone, can we play Uno..." (obviously I still have all the games from when I was little...). I got them The Littlest Pet Shop Mall Madness for Christmas (they're 7 and 6).
