3rd Trimester

TMI sorry, this is my 3rd viable pregnancy so you'd think

I'd know all.... HA....  this one is SO different from the rest.   My question is, how much "fluid" leakage (discharge ugh) is normal?  I feel like I'm wet all the time.  WHAT IS THAT?  it never happened like this before!

  • I've been really, really wet, too.  To the point where I ware a maxi pad so my drawers aren't all saturated in the crotch by lunchtime.  At my last appointment, the doctor took a peek and my cervix was high and closed, so the fluid was just normal wetness.  This is my first, so of course I had the doctor check, but apparently a lot of discharge can be normal.

  • after apparently peeing on my couch this morning... I think it could just be urine leakage - past pregnancies cause your muscles to not be able to hold it in as well. I'm not a doctor though... just my thought.

  • I'm a first timer, I feel like I might as well have been wearing pads --or, you know -- DIAPERS -- this entire pregnancy, and my doc says my cervix is a cement block. Hello due date. Goodbye due date.

I guess I just have a very high level of discharge.

  • Take it from me, this happens a lot. First pregnancy, I spent a whole evening in L+D with what I swore was my water breaking. Nope, just discharge and urine. Funny now but embarrasing at the time. The RNs in L&D say it happens a lot.

  • Yeah I asked about that a few weeks ago because that on top of 90 degree temperatures, I felt like I had to wear a diaper if I went outside for more than 10 minutes to walk somewhere.
