I wasn't until last week. They told me then that I was measuring two weeks ahead. At my appointment this morning, I was told I am now measuring at 40 weeks, which is 4 weeks ahead!
Oh boy! The doctor is already concerned with the baby being big, now I've gone from measuring right on target to measuring 4 weeks ahead in two weeks ahead! I seriously am not surprised, but would like it very much if baby proved the doctor wrong and came out not on the bigger side.
What will another 4 weeks do? Maybe I'll end up measuring like 50 weeks until baby is completely baked! lol. Fortunately, the doctor has not discussed scheduling an earlier delivery at this point. I have so much to do in the next few weeks! Guess I'll be busy this weekend trying to get as much done as possible!
Re: Anyone measuring ahead?
my last appt (32 weeks) was the first time i was measured. i measured 2 weeks ahead. at my 30 week growth u/s they estimated the baby to be over 5lbs. they became concerned about her size and mine (im petite and theyre projecting her to be 9.5 lbs). the retested me for GD and it turns out i have it.
you may have just had a big growth spurt and evened out. if youre doctors arent discussing an early delivery then dont even worry about it
