XP: C-section moms.. 6 week pp ck question

If you had a c-section, does the OB do an internal at your 6 week pp check-up? I'm on birth control and this is the week of my first pp period so im still bleeding.. eek! So what should I expect tomorrow?

yep, she did a pap. it was VERY uncomfortable..i hope your's is easier.

on a completely different note, i wanted to say i found that strawberry sweater for my DD

ugh totally not looking forward to it.. I hope DH can come so he can watch DD while i get my exam..

I had mine last week.. no pap just checked my cervix and they had a nurse come in to sit with LO in case he cried.. took only a few seconds no biggie

Mine was yesterday, just an internal and incision check, no pap. DH had to work so I brought DS with me and he was fussy the whole time. I got lots of "he's so cute" and "poor thing looks tired" from the nurses, but no one offered to keep an eye on him. GL

The very same. It's not a big deal if you are still bleeding though. Some people are definitely still bleeding during pp exams/check ups

yep. I'm getting a full exam at 3 months pp.

they are used to it...you'll have a pap but, I'd still go.

Yep, I had a pap. That, along with BP check and she took a look at scar. Pretty easy.

I didn't have an internal or a pap... I was due for a pap, but she gave me the option to get one that day or come back in a month and I chose to go back :-) I wasn't expecting a pap and wasn't really in the mood to have it. HA!

I only had an incision check. GL!
