  • You need to call your doctor first thing in the morning. You could have BV, or a yeast infection.

  • I would definitely call the Dr.  You could have an infection!
  • I was really itchy...turns out I had an infection which cleared up with a pill. I would take a shower to calm the itch... I'm not sure about creams and stuff, I didn't use them since I wasn't sure what kind of infection I had until I went to the doctor.

Are you swollen? Do you have medicated pads (for 'roids?) They work for your vagina, too! They contain witch hazel and aloe. Or use a washcloth, soak it in witch hazel, pop it in the freezer for a short while and put it on your crotch! Use an ice pack. If this doesn't seem to work, call your dr. tomorrow. (I did not have a yeast infection, but the same issue and it sucks!) The dr. said that it is caused by pressure and hormones and it will not necessarily fix the problem, but temporarily relieve the pain and itchiness until it goes away on its own. (It may come back, too, though, sorry!) Take some Tylenol, too.

this. and if you don't feel like calling, you should drive yourself to the ER so they can give you a prescription.

  • I had BV just before becoming pregnant...and it was so irritating that I would cry and cry...it scared the crap out of my husband!

The only thing that would help with relief was to take a warm bath, and put some Vagisil on afterwards (but the relief was very temporary).  A pill prescribed by my doc was the best thing ever.  Just take caution when swimming in a lake.  :)

What OBH suggested sounds like it would help greatly.  I wish I would have done that.
