For those that didn't hear... (PIP)

I got to take Darby to the ER for the first time today.
DH went camping last night, so I stayed at my parents' house. This morning, I decided to run some errands and my mom watched Darby. My mom put Darby by her back door to look outside. Darby was standing and having a grand ol' time. My mom walked just a few steps away to put something on the kitchen counter, but in those few seconds, Darby lost her balance and face planted. Hard.
I came home just a few minutes later to find Darby sitting on my mom's lap. She was facing away from me, so I didn't think anything of it until my mom says, "You're going to be mad at me." She turned Darby around. She has a HUGE knot on her forehead, a bruise under her eye, abrasions and bruising on her nose.
I figured she was okay, but I wanted to play it safe and get her checked out. We took her to the ER, got a CT scan, and found out the scans came back normal.
It was a *rough* day. She seems to be fine, but man oh man she looks bad.

I'm glad that sweet girl is okay! She's such a tough gal, I knew she's be fine.

(In case anyone wonders what the heck this is about, I made Darby a get well cake - okay okay, my plans of making a cake were interupted by the ER visit, so I made it when I got home

BEAN IS HER BOYFRIEND.
She LOVES cords, so when we got to the ER, she was so excited. Lol. When no one took the pulse ox away from her, she stayed so happy.
She loves them both, but she feels neglected by their lack of effort in the relationship. Jmrussell's Logan, however, is gaining some major points.
Long distance... Indiana to Texas... worked for Bean's parents!
