Today, I was riding in the car with my fiance. We were waiting to turn left at an intersection, and there was a pregnant woman (maybe seven or eight months?) with a jogging stroller. There was a baby, maybe a year and a half old, but no older than two, standing on the front end of the stroller (like over where the wheel would be) while the mom pushed it back and forth with her foot and talked on her cell phone. The light changed for us to turn, and while we are crossing, this lady (not watching any of the oncoming traffic) pushes this stroller out in front of all of the moving cars. Since the baby wasn't sitting or strapped in, the stroller lurching forward pushed her off and splatted her face first onto the road, while all the cars had to swerve and skid to avoid the little girl, and each other. The mom looks at all of the cars in a really pissed way, but she is still on the phone!! She picks the little girl up by one arm, puts her, sobbing and scraped up, into the stroller, and rushes across the road, where all of the cars have stopped. It was the most horrible thing! I can't imagine what she was talking about, that was so important!
