I love seeing the bump pics on Wednesdays. But I can't help thinking, where's my bump dammit!!! Some of you are as far along as me, or only a week ahead, and have lovely adorable bumps.
Maybe this is another unfair advantage the skinny girls have! I'm 5'10" and around 200. Pre-pregnancy I wore size 14 pants and S/M shirts. I definitely carry my weight in my thighs though. When do us bigger girls pop?
Re: Where is my bump??
I still haven't "popped". I barely showed with DS until the very end. Hopefully it will be different for you, though.
I know, be careful what you wish for. When I feel the baby's movements at least??? It's so hard being on the 2nd tri board. It seems like everyone else has all of these exciting things happening!
Maybe my bump is coming bc the baby is definitely squishing my bladder!
I am 5'7 and was 125lbs pre-PG and I have no definitive bump yet either. People who don't know that I am PG or know me think I have a beer gut. Everyone carries different.
you're only 15 weeks.
I'm pretty thin and didnt really show to strangers with my first son until 22 weeks.
This time around a little earlier, but popped at about 20 weeks this time.
you'll get there! don't worry!
I'm 5'10 and half ( yes,
I need to add the half) and was 162 at my first appointment. I'm now 17 weeks, up three pounds (165) and my uterus is actually above my naval, it's my THIRD child and I have no bump. I get full blown kicks, but I have no bump, just a "thickness" to the tummy region. Life isn't fair, it'll happen eventually. We can't all be like "hisbabybear."
I feel your pain! I'm 5'7 and a size 18 pre-preg, and still fit into the majority of my regular clothes. I have the same size tummy that I've had for awhile now, I just can't suck it in any more to accommodate non-maternity pants.
Although I'm thankful I haven't gained much weight, only three pounds in the past two months which is great given my starting weight.
Would be nice to have a cute baby bump though!
I'm built similarly to you - I'm 5'10" and pre-pregnancy I was 175lbs. I also carry all my weight in my hips and had a pretty flat belly prior. I can feel and see the difference in my belly, but no one else can. DH notices it occasionally, like when I haven't pooed in a few days.... I figured by nearly 19 weeks it would have shown up - no such luck.
