Curiosity Killed the Cat

We broke down and scheduled a 3D/4D u/s! I'm so psyched. I didn't think we were going to have the $, but we are in a decent spot right now, and DH actually brought up the fact that he really wants to see our LO. He doesn't want to wait 9 more weeks. I thought it was so cute! We scheduled it for a week from today. I'm so excited to see what our LO really looks like! It feels like its been forever since our last u/s. Its a little pricey - $175, but its a 30 min scan, and comes with a DVD of the entire u/s, printed pics, and a website with a slide show, so its not that bad I guess.

Anyone else having an elective 3D u/s? If so, how much is it in your area, and how far along will you be?

    I just booked ours today too! The package I'm looking at is about $150. My next u/s isn't until Thanksgiving week. I can't wait that long.

    I had one today. It was with my OB so they only charged me $100- other places I looked at in the area ranged from $125-$199. Baby was not cooperating though- he slept and held his hands in front of his face the whole time so they rescheduled me for next week at no charge. We got little glimpses of his face but never a full on shot. They were able to measure him (already weighing in at 3lbs 2 oz) and they saw he had a full head of hair already.

    Thats awesome that they can see all that! I'm even more excited to go now! At least you get to go back and see your LO again next week. Hopefully he'll cooperate and you'll get a good look at his little face!

    We have ours next week and I can't wait!!!  We haven't decided on a package yet but them range from $150-$200.  We also have a 10% off because we had our gender determiniation done by them.  So excited! Good luck with yours!  Make sure to drink extra fluids from now until then!

    So exciting!! Have fun. I am holding strong on team green and going to wait it out. I so want to peek inside there though....

    The receptionist told me to eat a big breakfast and drink lots of orange juice to make sure there was an active baby. The place is 2 hours away from where we live, so the juice might be consumed on the way. She also told me to drink lots of water, and only water, for the whole week before the u/s. I was told that we could see if she has hair or not.

    I scheduled mine for October 9, I'll be 30 weeks 1 day. It's gonna cost $155.00. They allow 20 people to come. We're getting a DVD, Heartbeat bear, Cd of all the pictures, and as many pictures as the baby will allow to be taken. They're serving us refreshments there and all. I'm very excited. My parents will be in for it.

    i had mine at 23 wks and it was awesome=)  it was about $150 and it came with a 15 min scan with a dvd of the whole thing, a cd of all the pictures (about 40), 4 colored printed pictures and gender determination (which is the main reason i wanted a 3d/4d scan).  it was sooo worth it and my lo is so cute=)

    Our 3/4 D is next week and its $99 for the 30 min video + 4pics color, 4b/w. and the picture cd with about 60 pics.
