I am trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I am thinking about making a turkey breast roast but I don't know about the sides. I want something different not just the usual mash potatoes and gravy. I need some inspiration.
Tonight I am making "fancy" grilled cheese (with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes) and roasted potatoes. Feeling laaaazy b/c I got little sleep last night!

Congrats on the new baby! You have every right to be lazy.
Tonight I am making steak with mashed potatoes, corn and salad.
Sides I usually make with turkey are sauted string beans with garlic and oil, stuffing, baked macaroni and cheese
The mac and cheese I make like this: boil any macaroni, drain, mix with 2 cups shredded chedder cheese, three slices Kraft Singles shredded, about 1/2 cup whole milk - put in baking pan place kraft singles on top put in oven at 375 until baked through.
Well, DH is out of town for the night so I am on my own with the three kids. I'm really considering going over to Target to kill some time and stopping for dinner at Sonic on the way home. Then by the time we get home it will be time for baths and then bed.
Re: What are you making for dinner?
Lentil soup and a salad.
crockpot salsa pork chops and potatoes and black beans
side salad and fresh bread
What about baked sweet potatoes? They're really good mashed, too. (I use https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/smashed-sweet-potatoes-recipe/index.html this recipe.)
Sauteed asparagus is always good
Roasted potatoes? Roasted veggies?
