my baby has had high direct conjugated bilirubin levels since birth
this causes the type of jaundice that is genetic, structural anomolies, blockage, hepatitis, or idiopathic (no known cause)
we have been through blood tests, ultrasounds, and now a liver scans
it is so hard dealing with the unknown, its so hard dealing with guilt and sadness.
how to cope?
the tears just keep flowing.'its really hard because he does not act like there is a problem, but the docs keep testing.
google is the devil too!

This board provides comfort, information and emphathy and it's a great place to vent, ask for advice or just "hang". There are many very helpful women over here.

Welcome to the board. That truly is one of the most beautiful sig pics I've ever seen.
Try to stay away from google, and cry as much as you need to - it gets better over time but man does it suck when you learn your little one has some extra hurdles to deal with. Hang in there!
