So apparently sleep positioners are now dangerous. Which I guess I can see where they could be.https://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm227575.htm
And J&J baby shampoo is dangerous also due to the ingredients that they use that the FDA had previously banned.https://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/617-johnson-a-johnson-and-walmart-sued-for-selling-toxic-baby-shampoo
Anyways, I registered for both of these items, and both have been purchased. I know I will thank whoever buys the baby shampoo like i would any other gift and just take it back later, but im on the fence about the sleep positioner? Will you still be using one?
Re: Sleep positioners?
negative on the sleep positioner - most newborns sleep pretty still, and once they are rolling, etc it's better not to have anything in the crib.
as for the shampoo... on the fence. I always used it as a kid, and other than the 3rd eye on my forehead, I'm pretty normal.
In regards to the J&J, our childbirth class instructor had told us their products were awful. She recommended this website to review which products are safe. Then you can make your own decision. We have decided to go with California Baby products.

No on the sleep positioner. They are a risk and why give your kid one more crutch to sleep?
No to J&J. And, don't think that Aveeno is any beter just because they seem to be more natural. They're made by the same company and (generally) contain the same crap.
