Need some ideas for 'Spontaneous Day'

Once a week, my guy and I pick somewhere within a half an hour of M'ville to go and eat and do something. It's so nice out that I was thinking outdoors...any suggestions for someplace to visit?

    This was the first place I thought of.  Yumm!!! La Conner ice cream tower has Lopez Island ice cream, so good.
