Lupron headaches

I have been having a lupron headache for a few days now and I mentioned it to my acu yesterday.  He said that drinking copious amounts of water will help with it.  I asked him if the 80-90 oz I already drink was not enough and he said to drink a lot more than that.  So I have been trying this today and have had about 50 oz of water so far (it's 11am here) and my headache is no where in sight.  So I thought I would mention this if anyone else was having headaches from the lupron that it might be worth a try.
TTC since 8/2004
Me - DX Hashimoto's Disease, Hypothyroid, Rheumatoid Arthritis
DH - DX Azoospermia - Sertoli Cell Syndrome
DS-IUI #1-4 BFN IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!

    Thanks for sharing.  I will try that when I start Lupron in 10 days!  I am terrible about not drinking enough water.  I am rarely thirsty.

    Thank you for sharing! I get daily migraines so I am fearful that Lupron will make them worse!!  Drink up!

    Thank you for the info YD!  I will have to remember that when I start Lupron again in January.

    I seriously drink 96 oz. of water every single day as a minimum so that's good to know. However, my luck is that I'll have to drink more. Oh boy.

    After 7 rounds of clomid and HcG, Three failed IUI's with an ectopic pregnancy, two shots of methotrextate, ER visits, breaks, low (3%) morphology One IVF cycle (lupron, gonal-F) that ended in another ectopic, more methotrexate, A Lap to disconnect both tubes, remove endo and a hydrosalphinx, . . .we are finally expecting TWINS from FET#1!
    1.11. 2011: Beginning FET cycle!
    3.11.11- FET! (DH's birthday!) 2 blasts transfered!
    3.20.11- BETA #1 BFP!!! 272! (9dp5dt)
    3.23.11- BETA #2 1346!!! (12dp5dt)
    4.8.11- U/S #1. . TWINS!!! . . .TWO BOYS!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I'm hoping I don't have to drink more than I already do because I pee quite a bit as it is!

    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     Before I started drinking as much water as I currently do, I got a lot more headaches which were from being dehydrated. Goes along with the whole hang over headache that is a direct result of being dehydrated as well.
