Pet Halloween Costumes (NTTGPR)

The halloween costume post inspired this post. I always dress up my doggies and kitties.

The boys were pirates one year:

    DH won't let me dress up our fur babies Sad

    but Shawty LOVES little sweaters and stuff in the winter and Ruby likes her neckties so I might pick something up this year and tell H to go to hell if he doesn't like it :) and that's why he loves me.

    I think dog costumes are so cute!  I dressed up my English Bulldog the first year of his life...He was a dinosaur and all the little trick or treaters loved him...but since then he's too fat for any the costumes.  Even the extra larges don't fit him!

    awwwww!  Our pug is a rescue and we always do pugoween...last year she was a smurf!   DH and I made this set...he did all the grass and platform work and I made papier mache mushrooms.  She wore a smurf hat a blue shirt :):):)  I don't know if we are gonna do a costume this year though!

    Both my dogs and husband would give me the side eye for even suggesting costumes. Your animals are cute all dressed up though!

    same here... clothes for humans not dogs he says...  I think halloween should totally be the exception!  Michelle (doggie) has a sparkly tank top that she wore one year.... she doesn't fit into it any more (my little fatty :))

    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    I am the only one?! Embarrassed My dogs don't mind it at all, but Norman wasn't thrilled with the lobster hat!

I bought both because I couldn't make up my mind Embarrassed I swear when I tried them on him he looked at me like "Mama WHY!?!!?!?" hehe But darn he looked so flippin' cute! Pictures are required for anyone who is dressing up a pet! I demand them! :)

    MH loves when we dress them up.  I have to figure something out for this year. It's difficult with mine, because they don't make pet costumes for 200 lb dogs! I have to buy adult costumes and modify them.

    I don't have pics, but Nibbler (the brown dog in my siggy) was a bat last year and Laika (the tri color) was a spider. They were so cute, but would run away from the camera

     

    I dress up my dogs. My boy dog (Nibbler) loves his sweaters. When it is cold outside and I grab one for him, he actually gets excited. Laika (the girl) is anti-clothing. I got her a doggie bikini this summer, and if she could have shot herself, I think she would have.

    AHHH this is making want to get a dog soo bad.. I ask my DH everyday but he says no Sad Our condo is too small.

    I know! Our "little" guy is pushing 80 pounds now and when I was in Pet Smart looking at all the costumes most wouldn't fit him because he's big and fluffy but I did manage to convince someone to check in the back and they found the pig and the cow so I took them both lol I figured he wont get much bigger and I can switch them up every year.

    My Ruby is a fatty fat but is Momma's girl all the way. And Shawty, her sun rises and sets on Daddy but she's so little for a min-pin even that we have to buy xxs for her.

    We're not buying our dog a costume because we will be on vacation for Halloween, but DH & I LOVE this costume, it makes us giggle :)

    My dogs are named after baseball players so we dressed up the corgi as Wade Boggs and the other dog as David Ortiz (her name is PAPI).
