Safe Medicine

I know I can google this, and I did, but I'm reading some conflicting information.  I have a cold and feel like hell.  What would you recommend taking? What has worked for you in the past? I was thinking of buying benadryl for tonight and tylenol for tomorrow.

Re: Safe Medicine

  • For the stuffy nose--I use a netti pot.  It took a few times to get used to, but I swear it works wonders.

    Give your OB a call.

It's too late for me to call.  Her office is only open till 5 and I was going to try to "rough it out" until I realized that it can't be good for me to be a martyr either.

I do have a nettipot, and I used it, but I still need to take something.

If it's that bad, just call the office anyways.  They have to have an answering service to connect you to the doctor on call who can help you.  Hope you feel better.
