My latest pet peeve

Today has not been a good day for a multitude of reasons, but as I go to give DD her midday dose of Zantac for her AR, I notice the darn syringe they give you at the pharmacy to go with is too fat and short to get to the last quarter or so of the bottle.  I have the same issue with her vitamin D drops.  The squirter thingy is too short to get the last few doses.

Is it really that hard to make a syringe or dropper long enough to serve the purpose?  Oh well.  Thanks for letting me vent a little.  Hope everyone is having a great day!

Re: My latest pet peeve

  • I don't know if is an option for you, but we get LOs Zantac from Target. They have a bottle that has a stopper on it and the syringe fits in the hole of the stopper and you tip the bottle upside down to get it all out. It is so much easier and less messy to use rather than putting the syringe into the bottle. I never knew how useful it was until I finally had it!

Yup.  You can also buy the stopper and syringe separately.
