I really hope this doesn't offend anyone or my question is out of place. I just finished reading "House Rules" by Jodi Picoult and was wondering if any of the ASD moms had read it and if so, what you thought. I'm also curious after reading a book like that how much is actually realistic and how much is total fiction and I thought maybe you wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts if you'd read it TIA!

my daughter's obviously way younger than Jacob, but I found the situations surrounding his ASD to be totally plausible. Obviously every kid is different, but I thought she did a decent job portraying an ASD family. Like Auntie said, Jodi Picoult tends to use real-life scenarios as the basis for her novels, and she's well-known to research the lights out of her stories for the sake of believability. This book was no exception, I thought.
