Ladies,
DH and I have TONS of apples from our trip to the orchard this past weekend. We've already made applesauce, and I'm going to bake apple muffins tonight. This weekend, I'll make apple cupcakes. But, we'll still have LOTS of apples leftover. Any suggestions for soemthing else to make?
TIA!

Apple kugel and pie are excellent suggestions. You could make multiples of the pies and freeze them so that you would never run out....yummmm.
I'm a fatty.

Heat oven to 350F degrees.
Mix brown sugar, applesauce, oil and egg substitute in large bowl.
Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, then finally the apple.
Spread batter in 8x8 inch pan, lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Our dinner tonight. Put in slowcooker for 8 hours on low:
2 lbs of boneless pork chops
2 cans of Campbell's Golden Mushroom
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
4 large Granny Smith apples, sliced (or whatever you picked is fine!)
2 large onions, sliced
ETA: *we're eating it over black rice (yum and healthy), but it would be WAY better over egg noodles!
