I am throwing a Pirate themed murder mystery dinner so Im going to be a Tavern Wench (because Im a bartender, so it made the most sense). DH will be a pirate obviously.

My friend and I are going to go on a Halloween wine trail. It takes you to 9 different wineries and you get to sample wine while playing a mystery clue game. So We are dressing up like grape stompers. But I'm gonna be Lucille Ball from I love lucy's episode "Italian Movie". I love Lucille Ball:)

No idea, but we need to figure that out sooner than we did last year! Last year, on Halloween, we had NO idea what we were going to be until DH came home from his haircut that morning. He called and said he knew what we should do, and he'd tell me when he got home--I'd be able to guess. He came home with a horrible haircut and looked just like Spock...so we dressed up as Star Trek characters. It worked, but we need more planning this year!

I wanted to be a pregnant housewife and the milkman buuuut thats obviously not going to happen but I picked up a pair of thigh high striped socks that lace up at the top at Target yesterday so I'll probably pair those with black boots, a black skirt and some kind of top and witchs hat (they have them in the $1 section at Target for $2.50, very cute ones too!) bc I don't feel like going all out, I spent waaaay too much money on my costume last year.

I really want to try to make a mummy costume out of gauze. I'm thinking I'll wrap it around white leggings and a tight white shirt, add a few stitches or fabric tape and wala! I'm not sure how I'll wrap my head but I think I might get a scull cap to contain my hair and wrap from there and then paint white around my eyes and mouth so they can remain unwrapped and wrap the rest like crazy!

Cheap and creative, my two favorite qualities in a Halloween costume!
