Birthday gift suggestion for 4 yr old boy?

Visiting from the 24 mo + board.....can you gals give me a suggestion for a good gift for a 4 yr old boy? We have a party on Saturday and I'm at a loss here since I have a 2 yr old girl and have no idea what he would like.

    You pretty much can't go wrong with toy cars and trucks when it comes to 4 y/o boys.  By the time they're 4, boys have pretty diverse interests, but even if they're really "into" star wars, or basketball, or Thomas, or Toy Story, almost all 4 year old kids think playing with toy cars is fun.

    DS, born 8/25/04 -- 7th grade

    My son is 4 and is all boy.  He loves cars, CARS, Toy Story, Thomas, trains, building stuff (Lincoln Logs, Duplos), sticker books, coloring books, crafty stuff, puzzles, books.
