Getting annoyed already...

I have been getting opks that look like this one for the past 4 days!

  Anyone else get close to +opks that long before an actual + shows up? I am sure I am getting frustrated for nothing since I usually O around CD 18-22. But I figured with early CM this time, I might O earlier.

    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm
    baby girl born 5/10/13

    TTC#2 since 12/17/2014, Cycle 8
    Repeat Testing...FSH=12, AMH=3.8, AFC=28. 
    IUI#5 5/10/15- c/p?
    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    That could be my test strip you are holding. I've had those for 5 days now. I have made a note in FF and just hope for the next one. This is my first month charting with temps and OPKs so I dont know what to expect.

    If you keep having sex the way you've been, it won't matter how dark that strip gets.  Wink

    Agreed! I do get several days of almost positives before a definite positive. I hope it happens soon for you. Good luck!

    Mine looked like that today and yesterday too. I'm only on CD 8, so I have a feeling mine will be similar to your situation as well.

    Honestly, I have never had a truly positive cheapie OPK.  When mine looks like the one you showed, I take a digital and it's usually +... not that having several days of +OPKs would help you out either.  If you usually get one darker than that, hopefully your body will get the memo and go ahead and let the LH loose!

    Last month was like that for me.  I had several days of almost positive, then finally got my blazing positive on CD37!!!  Ugh.

Me: 35; DH: 34 DX: DOR, egg quality issues ; DH - all normal FSH 10.1, Estradiol 21.8, AMH 0.49 IVF #1 (Oct/Nov 2011) (Antagonist with BCP's)- 5R, 0 eggs to transfer CD3 b/w by same RE 1/2012: FSH 6, AMH 1.4...wtf?? IVF #2 (Apr 2012) EPP/Antagonist with ICSI - 10R, 7M, 6 ICSI'd, 2F. 3DT = BFN AMH tested by new RE 6/2012 - 2! Saving money for IVF #3. Started a ton of supplements in May 2012 and hoping for a miracle! SURPRISE BFP!! (October 2012)

    I'm with you. I had OPK's like these last cycle. I started getting the "almost" positives today, so we'll see what happens. GL!
