Is it too soon?

Had my GD test yesterday, walked out of the lab around 1:20 yesterday afternoon. Haven't heard back from the doctor yet. My next appt is Oct. 13 so I know they won't wait that long to tell me the results. The lab tech said the doc will probably only call if the test was positive, so I don't know if the test is negative or if they haven't gotten around to calling yet.

It's been 24 hours... should I call them? Or wait until closing tonight or sometime tomorrow?

    It took my office about a week to get the results to me.

    I would definitely give it a few days. If you don't hear anything that's usually a good sign. They'll call if you have it.

    The tech told me yesterday they'd have the results by today. Hmmmm... Weird how different all of our labs/docs are!

    My OB only calls if you have it.

    When I did mine they didn't call me until right before they closed for the day. I would suggest waiting it out for the rest of the day and if you are still worried/curious then call tomorrow.

    I called my OB office the next day and asked for my results and they already had them.

    I would give it another day or 2. Usually no news is good news. Alot of Docs don't call unless it comes back too high

    My OB told me to call after 24 hours. The results were available in the computer, but it takes over a week to get the paper copy. My OB's office won't check for the results unless requested.
