Hi guys. Just an update - some of you may care, some of you may give a rat's a$$. (yay for passive aggressiveness).
Monday, I went for a growth u/s because the OB had an inkling that I was measuring too small. The u/s tech basically freaked out and ran upstairs to talk to the doctor. OB comes and gets us and basically just says "I want you to go NOW to labour and delivery. I have no problems delivering you tonight because you have next to NO amniotic fluid".
Ok. So DH and I book it to L&D, where they run a NST, and another u/s, at which point they find a few pockets of fluid. I get another internal, and am told that at this point, I am not progressed at all, and if they were to induce, it would take a good 3-5 days. So because Lentil was not in distress, and they found some fluid, they sent me home, with an appointment to meet with the perinatologist the day after (yesterday, being Tuesday).
Yesterday at the peri's office, they found three things: (A) Lentil is measuring too small for comfort. (B) The blood flow through the cord is not good. (C) The fluid they were able to find was so negligible, it took an hour to do calculations with u/s.
So I was instructed to go back to L & D...after making sure this was OK, I went home, DH met me there (he unfortunately had a school meeting he had to attend while I was at the peri's office), and packed my bags.
Today would have been my 37w pic. They induced me last night beginning at 7pm. They made sure Lentil could take contractions, and then gave me the cervix softener.
This morning, I was only 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, and Lentil still at -2 station. They just put me back on pitocin. Contractions are getting stronger, coming every 5 minutes or so. Right now, I'm bored. Nothing's happening, DH went home to walk and play with the dog, and to de-stinkify.
I am surprised at this outcome because I had had an extremely uneventful pregnancy.

Good luck!
And I know a c-section isn't optimal but my recovery was super easy. So, if it comes to that know that recovery isn't always as horrible as some people make it out to be.
