I literally JUST started charting (this morning was only my second temp). I know you need at least three hours of sleep before temping, but this morning I forgot and woke up an hour early to pee, then went back to bed. Does that mean the temp I took once I was only asleep for an hour is invalid? Should I even put it on my chart?
Yesterday (with three hours) I had 97.05. This morning with only one hour I got 96.76. Does it vary so much, because I didn't get three hours?
I am horrible at this, especially since I usually get up to pee a couple hours before I actually wake up. Plus, my BBT doesn't make sense all the time (it is the pink and white one from Target). It has a memory, but sometimes it will show a number that wasn't my last temp that I took.. UGH!
Does this get easier?

Re: Charting Dummy...
temps usually go up if you get up...
that being said
keep the temp, mark it Sleep Deprived
good luck
I would enter it and mark it as sleep deprived (you can do that under the tab "Specific") and FF will give you an open circle. It's not ideal, but also not a big deal if you don't have to many open circles.
It will get easier over time, yes. Maybe you can find a better time for taking your temperature, since you already know that you'll always wake up before anyway and won't get your 3 hours of consecutive sleep?
Good luck!
