TTC After a Loss

i give up

my "chart" if that's what you can call it... makes no sense. I stopped keeping track yesterday. My temps were:

95.2, 96.5, 95.3, 95.9, 96.4, 95.5, 96.5, 95.6... up and down up and down every day. we've done the BD the last 5 days. we took last night off (b/c DH just couldn't do it, needed a break) and we'll try agian tomorrow and maybe the next day.

Hopefully I am actually ovulating and we hit the mark. my CM is back and forth too, never got to "egg white" unless i just don't realize what that should look like. I've done the research and know what i THINK it should look like. but i just haven't really seen it.

this is just so frustrating. i just want a baby.

hope everyone else is having a better time.

Re: i give up

  • Charting can be frustrating, and your temps can certainly look like they're all over the place.  Are you using FF?  Usually, I think mine look like mountain ranges pre-O, but then once I get the CH, the daily temp changes don't look as bad.

Are you using OPKs?  Those might be helpful as well.

    Good luck.

  • I agree about OPKs...I started using them this cycle and caught the end of my surge on saturday morning.  Coupled with tracking temps and CM I think they are a helpful tool.

  • Can you link your chart?  I'm so much more a visual person and can't picture what your graph looks like.

I will say don't give up on temping.  I know it can be frustrating at times.  But as you learn what your body tends to do, it gets better.

  • I was having the same issues with temping and later realized it was probably because I wake up several times during the night and was usually not asleep for 3 hours before I woke up and took my temp.  I read somewhere that you need AT LEAST 3 hours of continuous sleep to get an accurate BBT.  I am going to start trying again next month, hopefully we both have better luck.
  • i keep my own paper chart from the doctor's office. i don't have access to the internet very often at work so this works better for me.

I've been taking OPK's the past three days and one today, none of them looked positive... all very faint lines. we're still doing the BD, and will try again tonight.

thanks for all your help ladies... I'm just really anxious to get pregnant again. I'm trying to stay calm and tell myself it will happen when it's the right time. but gosh darnit i had a baby before and i lost it. i tried to stay positive that time and look where it got me. i just want a BFP and a take home baby. please don't make me wait now. I'm so afraid that our ability to get pregnant the first time so easily, was just a fluke.
