T&P Update - Sad

Hello all!

I am a lurker that posted about a month ago that I had gone into labor early at 24 weeks. I was originally due in December. Many of you asked me to keep you updated. I am sorry I have not posted sooner but it has been a hard time for us.

Sadly my sweet baby girl Amber Michelle only lived 11 days. She fought very hard to stay with us but was just too tiny. She lost her battle to a very aggressive infection that surprised even the doctors with how fast it struck.

We are still not sure exactly what happened to cause her to come so surprisingly early. I have my postpartum visit next week so I'm hoping to learn a little more then.

Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers you sent to my family! We were very blessed to get the days with her we did and she was an extra special baby. We were blessed to have some amazing moments with her.
