Ok, first of all, I have been on BC for several months now and have had periodic breast pain, almost like a little pricking, stabbing pain. It's not bad, really. just enought to notice and twinge a little bit. I read that this can be a side effect of BC. I never had it before, though. Anyone else have this?

 Also, if LO is in DC and say they have a blow out. When the DC changes their clothes, do they rinse out the dirty clothes or just shove them in a bag all caked with poo? Our DC did that and I kinda find it odd. The sink it right next to the changing table. I mean, I dont' expect them to scrub, soak, etc, but just rinse it out maybe. Eh?

Lastly, sippy cup training tips. You got 'em? I'm takin 'em.

    I've got nothing on the breast pain or sippy cups but our DC rinses out his clothes and wil try to get most of the mess out befor putting it in a bag.

    When are you supposed to introduce a sippy cup?

    My breast pain happened off and on on BC and when my milk was drying up. I'm not sure I'm much help in that department.

    As for LO's poopy clothes, my daycare has a washer and dryer. So I keep sets of clothes for her there that are washed when needed.

    The only one I can help you with is the sippy cup. We introduced it at 6.5 months. LO was holding his own bottle so we figured we let him try out his sippy cup. For awhile he just "played" with it and got used to it. Now, he acutally drinks from it, it just took a little practice. We only put water in it, he still gets his formula in a bottle.

    Breast pain is common. If it gets bad or if it's continuous you should talk to your dr.

    Nick doesn't go to DC, but it seems like they should rinse if LO has a blow out.

    We started the sippy when he was able to hold his own bottle. LO would just chew on it at first, but now he's able to tilt it enough to drink. He doesn't really drink much. LO likes the regular cup better.
