So my doctor is going to be out of town the week before I am due and my original due date was November 21st. At my 20 week ultrasound they changed it to November 18th. Well now I have to wait until November 23rd if I want my doctor...hope he doesn't come early! (maybe by then I won't care!)

Re: Scheduled induction today
I wasn't aware people were willing to take such risks to just have the doctor they want.
So let me get this straight - they let you schedule the induction (title of your post) and there's no medical reasoning for this - you just want it bc it's convenient for you?
I'm begging my doctor to let me go to 41 if I don't go into labor on my own by then. Elective inductions can have scary results, not to mention it involves drugs like pit that I don't want (but that's me). At least you'll be over 40.
I wasn't trying to be feisty, I was curious. (You didn't mention you would be due at the time and I didn't do the math according to your ticker.)
I personally just would be scared to go through an induction if I didn't have to, as I am told they are far more intense (pain wise) than going into labor naturally is all.
Everyone's pain tolerance, views and thoughts are different on this (and many other things of course) for sure! That is how I feel so I was, again, curious.
im for a scheduled induction. I have GD and im considering a scheduled induction at 37-38 weeks. whats wrong with an induction if you are past 37 weeks which is full term?
