I was catching up on older posts. And we are going through similar experiences. Your symptoms sound exactly like my carpal tunnel symptoms. Totally sucks. Have you tried any remedies? My acupuncture helped a bit, except I am losing sensation in my fingertips. (Hurts typing this).
I am also hoping therapy helps me deal with my feelings and fears. Sorry that you are going through a tough time too. In January we will have proof that this has all been worth it!
I am going to work for as long as possible. I think that it will keep me slightly sane. Are you happy to be leaving work soon?
Re: ***Newsbaby***
Not only are we going through similar experiences, but we are due the same day - freaky!
I have not tried anything for the CT yet. It is kinda new to me and I don't think it has sunk in yet. I keep thinking that I am getting all of these muscle and skeletal problems because I dodged morning sickness. I don't think I will go for acu as it is not covered by my insurance :-( What else do you think you will try?
I was instructed to be out of work as of last Friday at 23 weeks, but I am stopping next week at 25 weeks. No complications besides the severe hip/pelvic pain, that is just the way my ob's practice operates with twins. I could not be happier to leave there. The commute is a killer to say the least. I live in one of the outer boroughs and getting into the city is not that easy. It takes almost 2 hours each way and you know the people that I encounter do not make things easy for a pregnant lady.
I am so glad that work is keeping you sane though, at least you have something.
You are going to see a therapist as well? Please let me know how it goes. I am going to try to find a recommendation for someone that deals with IF - not sure how easy that is going to be cause I sure as hell am not going back into the city for the appt!
I hope things subside for you and get better soon. Glad to talk to you!
