Hey girls,
Went to my preconception checkup the other day and my MD prescribed prenatal vitamins that are like horse pills and I will definitely not be able to swallow them. I do have problems swallowing large pills and was wondering if anyone knew of any over the counter vitamins that were small or chewables that are still good quality prenatal vitamins?
Thanks!
Re: prenatal vitamin question?

Do the gummies taste ok? I almost bought them at Target the other day because I figured theyd be easier but I got scared that they would taste awful.
@tlalli7106 - I Love my sailor too
I've heard that these gummies are pretty good: Vitafusion PreNatal DHA and Folic Acid gummy vitamins
The only thing is, they don't have iron in them (this makes them gentle on the stomach), so you may have to take an iron supplement, especially if you get KU.

I just bought these last week, and they are actually good. They taste just like fruit gummies. You should give these a try, but you need to take 2 a day. Oh, and I got them at Target.
I am actually on a chewable one my Dr said they taste like blueberry but they are yellow and smell tropical.. I dont chew them. They are Precare chewables.. HTH
I definitely recommend the Vitafusion Prenatals! It's the only PNV I can stomach and it tastes pretty good too. I even got my bestfriend hooked since she's planning to have a baby!
Here is a review I found: https://www.minnesotamamasmusthaves.com/2010/09/b2b-gummy-vitamins-review-360-value.html It has a link to the maker's website that has the supplement facts so check that out for info. The reviewer also has a years supply of gummy prenatals as a prize! I entered, lol. Here's to hoping I win.
