Record release day! I know I have seen a music fan or two around these parts. Anyone pick up the new Jimmy Eat World? Bad Religion? I need someone to relate to! Also, it's Parenthood night... anyone else watching?!
In other news, I got my most positive OPK yet -- the line was actually DARKER than the control line, which thrilled me! It looks like my previous temp spike truly is just extremely strange, and I am currently O'ing as I type this. I've been feeling odd crampy feelings all day. It looks like our timing this time around has been pretty perfect... but now, since I'm not me unless I have weird fears and irrational concerns, I am wondering if enough/any semen is getting in me. I'm pretty sure DH is fully in me when we're having sex, but he doesn't pull out immediately after ejaculating, and when he does, it seems like he's already out of me without having pulled out. Why do I worry about this crap? Seriously.
I also bought a pineapple. I need to figure out the least messy way to cut it and get to the core... just how gross can I expect that to taste, anyway?

Cuz, we worry about something all the time with TTC! lol Insignificant stuff I would never even notice before bugs me now. I think it's just part of playing the game unfortunately. Especially if you are a control freak like me! lol
I think in the WalMart produce section (or at least mine here where I live) you can buy the core alone...
weird, huh? I didn't think that part would be that desirable but maybe I'm wrong...

I was under the impression that it wasn't easy at all to buy just the core... it's fine since we both like pineapple, and it was only a dollar. At least it won't go to waste.

post whenever you finally eat the core...I'm going to try that this cycle, and I haven't decided if I just want to eat it straight, or try and blend it into a smoothie =/
Oh, I'm a JEW fan, but I haven't listened to the new album yet. I need to.
We don't have a blender, nor do we have an ice maker that would really justify buying a blender for spontaneous smoothie making... I'll be going at the core on my own! I'll cut it into 5 pieces and just force it down if I need to.
The new album is pretty different for them! I do love it, but I still think Futures is the best thing they have ever done, despite the fact that I got into them during Bleed American. I walked down the aisle to "Polaris" so we're pretty big fans!

I love Futures as well...Kill is my all time favorite song...although "My Sundown" is a close second. I got into them during Bleed American also. Love love love their music! That's awesome that you walked down the aisle to Polaris!
Bleed American was what DH had in his car when we first started dating, so every time we were together, that's what we were listening to. Believe it or not it was a good 6 months before ANY other album was put in. We're seeing them on October 7th, for the... 5th or 6th time, I think it is. If we're lucky it will be the last show in a LONG time that we'll be right up front for. That's what we love doing, but if I'm pregnant, it's going to have to stop happening. It's strange to think of going to shows and not being in the crowd, but hey, safety first!

that is so funny--I first heard them in my H's car too! He loves them also, so he had a ton of their songs burned onto random cds. I need to see if they are touring anywhere near us...I would love to see them in concert (never have...they came to Tampa once but it was over xmas break, so all my friends were out of town, and I didn't want to go by myself). That is one downside of pregnancy: (a welcome one though, I suppose!) no concerts! I mean, unless it's some orchestra concert where you just sit and clap
EDIT: I just checked--they're gonna be here oct 9th!!! bummer...I think H is out of town that weekend, and I am hosting a baby shower that afternoon/evening for a friend...I must work that in somehow!
We definitely won't stop going to shows; we'll just have to stand back away from the crowd. We usually get right up front and go crazy. We just saw The Gaslight Anthem twice in a week, and they're "the" band for me... it was really hard for me to accept the fact that it may very well be the last time I see them from right up front.
Once our future kiddo is in the world, we're going to invest in a good pair of earmuffs so baby can join us. We love music and concerts so much that I seriously cannot wait to share that with our kids! Luckily Illinois is smoke free; we wouldn't go to venues with smoking, regardless, because DH gets horrible sinus infections from smoke.
