Kids are AWESOME!!!

I was at the OB today, and there was a woman there with her kid (he looked to be about 5 or 6 years old). He was a little chatterbox! Our conversation goes as follows:

Boy: Do YOU have a baby in your belly like my mommy?

Me: yep

Boy: Are you going to have a little brother? Or a little sister?

Me: We don't know yet...It's going to be a surprise!

Boy: Ooooh. I'm getting a little sister, but I asked mommy for a puppy instead! When do you take the baby home (as he stares at my bump)?

Me: On Christmas Eve...It's my Christmas present!

Boy: My sister is coming home for Christmas too! She must be REALLY big cuz my mommy's tummy is bigger than yours....Yeah a LOT bigger! (as he pats/sizes up my belly). Hey mommy, she has a baby in her belly! It's coming home for Christmas too! Look how little! (still patting my belly).

This kid was too kind! I've been feeling extra big these days & this was just what I needed to hear. God bless that little kid!!!
