Parenting after a Loss

6 Month Stats...

she is officially a bobble headed peanut...

yep.

14 pounds (10th percentile).  24 1/2 inches (10th percentile) and 17 inch head... (75th percentile).

it bothers me that the doctor seemed more concerned about her "large" head as opposed to the fact that she is dwindling off the percentile charts... BUT she is totally on track as far as milestones.... and we were told to go to two meals a day.... fun fun.

Happy for a good visit... petite is our word of the day:)

  • YAY Harper! Remember the pattern of growth is more important than the specific numbers. Do you or hubby have big heads? I say that lovingly because both DH and I have big heads and LO is like 95th percentile :)

I would say that we both do... figuratively  and literally.Stick out tongue

we both had to special order our graduation caps... so I would say yes:)  I think he is bobble headed... but he find that insulting.  She just takes after her papa....

  • Aw, what a cutie.  As long as she's staying on track and not crossing percentile lines I'd say she's just a cute peanut with a bit of a bobble head (and I mean that in a nice way since I, too, have an enormous head).

  • I think Harper is absolutely adorable (bobble head or not), as I'm sure you do. Sounds like she's progressing along just dandy.

My baby is a peanut, too, and I think he's perfect.
