My friend back in Cali just called me this morning (at the butt crack of dawn my time) to say she's pregnant. I tried to be happy for her but I am just so frustrated. Whenever she calls she just complains about how she has absolutely no money whatsoever and that I wouldn't understand because I don't have a mortgage, two car payments and a baby yet in the flesh. I may not own everything I want but things are definitely tight for everyone money wise! Geesh, get off the high horse! She is always talking about how she literally has not one dollar to spare and when I come and visit (which, hello, is a costly thing to do) she makes me feel guilty (and everyone else) if I want to do a lunch out with our group of friends. On a side note, she COMPLETELY RUINED my surprise when I told her I was pregnant and yet she wants me to be rainbows and bunnies about her pregnancy? If you can't afford one baby, why would a second child be a good idea? It's so frustrating
