Hi ladies,
This is the first time that I have ever posted on this site, I recently heard about it from a friend who is expecting at the end of the year. I have been reading all of your posts and I get so much encouragement from simply reading your communications with each other. And thus, I thought I would give it a try.
My husband and I have been TTC for 16 months, going on 17 tomorrow and I am losing my steam. I am generally a very positive gal, but I just feel lost. We miscarried at 6 weeks in July, luckily we only told my parents and his grandmother. I can't even begin to describe the shame I felt, as though there was something that I could have done to prevent it. I told my best friend a month or so later, but the look in her eyes just had me telling her how okay I was and that I was glad that it happened sooner rather than later. Which was far from how I really felt but I just didn't want her pity. Honestly I don't know what I feel about it.
Nonetheless the show must go on, so we have been trying since August and we really thought that we were pregnant this month, but I recieved a BFN this morning. I'm trying not to feel heartbroken but I am. This was our first month of charting so fingers crossed for next month.

Hi, welcome to the board!
I am so sorry about your loss and your BFN this morning. I hope next month is the lucky month for you!
Do you use FF for your charting? If so, most of the girls here link the chart in their siggys. You can click on my link to sign up for FF if you haven't already.
GL to you!
Since you have been TTC for 16-17 months, have you gone to a Dr? Have you been Dx with anything?
Also have you been charting? Charting can help with Dx a lot of different things that could be going wrong, like not ovulating, or having a short Luteal Phase.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Welcome to this board and GL to you. I hope your stay here is short!
Bug Meets World
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.
I have not been Dx with anything. I have recently switched doctors in the last 5 months, and my current doctor suggested that I stop all activites (excercising), I am a runner and participate in triathalons, therefore my body fat was extremely low. I have gained ten pounds and try to do yoga a couple times a week, I think that its helping because we were able to get one BFP.
I am really new to all these charts, I have been tracking my last cycle it seems normal from what I have seen on the boards and articles.
Thank you to all of you ladies for your well wishes and support, it makes me cry. Thank you.
Hugs. I'm so sorry, I know how frustrating it is when it's just not happening. I have experienced the whole m/c thing too, and I know how heartbreaking it is.
I don't have any great words of wisdom, except hang in there and try not to worry.
Have you seen a specialist yet? That is our next step.
Unexplained secondary infertility...bleh. Gave it a few more tries and BFP on 3/31

My BFP Chart
I'm so glad you came here for support!!! I just recently joined The Bump too, and it has been so helpful. One of my good friends MC'd @ 6 weeks this past month, & her friends reacted the exact same way. People just don't know how to deal with a death of a "person" when in there mind, they never met this "person" and don't know how to react. I guess it's just not quite real to other people.
I'm glad that you'll be here with us and hope that your stay is short this next cycle! (This was my first cycle charting too!)
Sorry for your loss. But WELCOME AND GOOD LUCK!!!
Im new also, and love coming on and reading posts from everyone. This whole place seems like a friendly supportive place.
Hope you have a short stay though.
I'm very sorry that you have had to go through all of that
I hope this site will be a good resource for you and WELCOME!! I would definitely recommend charting in some form, just to get a better understanding of what's happening with your body (for you, the extreme exercise may have caused you to stop ovulating and charting would be able to tell you that sort of thing- not that you are doing that anymore, just an example).
Here's to a BFP for you next cycle!
