How big did you get?

I've read the averages on how big a MoM's belly will get by the time she delivers, just wondering how big some of you real MoM's got.

I'm nearly 20 weeks and I look like I'm in the middle of my 6th month already, and my body already feels like it's way out of alignment!

Last week at my 20 week appt my dr told me I looked and measured about 27 weeks along. My family cannot believe how big I have grown (especially in the last 2 weeks) My mom told me she was massive when she had my brother and sister (who are twins) so just expect to keep on growing. Also last night my grandmother and DH told me at dinner that my maternity pants were too tight and that I had outgrown them. Good luck!

I'm over 34 weeks right now and I measure about 8 ahead each time, so I would guess 42. I am 53 inches around.

At 37 weeks I measured 53 weeks but I had pretty big babies for twins.

I measured 47 weeks last week at my 35 week appointment. I'm on target for pretty big twin boys though.

everyone carries differently - some women on here have been WAY bigger belly wise than others, even though their babies were a lot smaller....

i'm tall and tended to carry low. I was only 54" around the day i gave birth at 38w - on me it didn't look THAT big for twins I thought... but i have seen some bellies on here that make me cringe they look so big- on moms who had smaller babies... usually smaller women carry more outward.

I was measuring 10 weeks ahead, generally speaking. We stopped measuring after 30 weeks b/c it was getting ridiculous and isn't a indicator of anything. I'm 5'5 and I looked HUGE.

My last appointment at 36w, 5d, I was measuring 44 weeks. I am 6'0" tall so I imagine the babies had a lot of room to grow up and not just out.

I measured 4, sometimes 6 weeks ahead the entire time.

I think I was measuring about 43-44 weeks when I delivered at 37w2d. I'm really tall though, and my babies were laying just right side by side, and one slightly higher than the other in my uterus. I was always told that there was "no way" I was having twins.

at 5 months is when I started to measure ahead..I measured ahead about 6-7 weeks until the end of my pregnancy.

When I delivered at 36.5 weeks, I measured 45 weeks!

on the day I delivered (34w5d), I measured 47 weeks! I'm only 5'2" so I really looked huge!

Go to my blog and see me at 36wks!! I feel huge but alot of people say i'm small for twins. Depends on your body type i guess. I have gained 35 pds so far (or 45 if you count from what i went down to when i had m/s)

Yay for big babies! I'm hoping to get mine to 7lbs each...lets hope they have room in there (I'm 5'5).

Thanks for sharing, it's nice to have some real world examples and not just what the average is according to a book.

I'm 5'3", 34w1d, and today I measured 39 weeks. My belly is only 46-47" around right now. I'm not measuring as far head as a lot of people right now, but I definitely feel huge! =P

At 34 weeks I was only measuring 40 -- that was the last time I was measured. I'm 4'10'' and delivered at 36w0d. My DS was 4 lbs 9 oz and DD was 4 lbs 2 oz, so a bit small for GA, but considering my whole side of the family is small, no one was too concerned.

Here's a collage I did. I'm 5'10" so I usually only measured 3-4 weeks ahead of where I was. I delivered at 38 weeks, and I actually forgot to take a picture the day I was induced. I gained 58lbs total, but I lost 35 in the first 24 hours after I had them because I was so swollen and lost A LOT of water weight.

Depending on how the boys are laying I measure 5-6wks ahead. But I'm also 5'11 and have a long torso...I have to agree with strangers when they say I don't "look like" I'm having twins. My friend who was 5'3 had a singleton and she looked twice as big as I am now. She was a 9pounder though...

I measured 44 weeks at 34 weeks, 48 inches around, and gained 36lbs. My stomach got huge, but thankfully the rest of me stayed pretty normal size. Here's a pic from the day they were born:

I gained a total of 46 pounds. I am 5'7". I consistently measured about 4 weeks ahead. Most people didn't even know I was carrying twins! Here is my last belly shot from 36w6d:
