Silly to be superstitious like this?

At my work, there are three girls that got pregnant about the same time.  (Including me.)  We don't have a huge staff, so that's a pretty big number.  Well, the first girl just had her baby three weeks early.  The other girl had her twins a month early.  Now I'm scared to death I'm going to go into premature labor.  I'm at 30 weeks right now, so this wouldn't be great.  It doesn't help that everyone keeps saying, "You're next."  It's silly to think I'd go into labor early just b/c they did, but it's like I feel there's a curse or something.

    I believe that you can curse yourself with your words, so I would cancel that right now, but I don't think that just bc they had their babies early, that it means you will.  Heres to a heathy baby born right on time!

    3 weeks early isn't THAT early, and having twins a month early isn't really strange.. so I'd say that yes, it's silly to think that there is a "curse" and that you'll go into labor early.

    Its normal to be nervous, but every pregnancy is different, no curses involved.

    Twins generally come early (a month is actually really normal).  Some women have babies a few weeks early also.  I wouldn't worry about early labor (especially before 37 weeks) if everything is going fine.

    I would say Yes silly to be superstitious and like others have said 3 weeks isn't early--that's a full-term baby and twins at a month early is the norm.
