Hi Ladies,

Husband and I have an 8 year old daughter. We are 'going with the flo' since we got marry this past April. We have a lot of things going on these days. My In laws live with us and my brother in law too. So this makes kind of crazy. We don't fight or anything just really tight quarters for a three bedroom house. Anyhow I am pretty regular with AF every 30 to 34 days. She was due on the 21st of this month. So I have been having heartburn, nausea, and headaches since the 23rd and on Sunday morning I took a test it was negative. so the question is can you get a false negative after you have missed your period????

    yes you can get a false neg. either you tested to early...or your HGC levels aren't kicking in yet

    wait another week and test again

    Oh Geez. I don't even know where to begin... but I'll start here- you don't know when you ovulated by "going with the flow", so you are most likely not late or pregnant.

    Hope this isn't MUD. or maybe I do.

    You probably ovulated later than you think. You should start charting through Fertility Friend or at least sign up for the website and do the tutorials. You can get to their website by clicking the ticker in my siggy. The website is free.

    Continue to test once a week until you either get a +HPT or AF. If you go 60 days with neither then call your doctor.

    It's possible you don't have enough HCG. It's also possible that you're stressed and that's why you're late. The same happened to me in July.

    I'm really late too, but I think its because of stress, traveling, food poisoning and sleep deprivation. After 60 days I'm going to call my doctor.

    I wish this would pop up as a default answer before posts like this. Sorry, OP, but this board gets this same question about 15 times a day, it seems.
