I am 39 weeks.. over the past week I gained 6lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The doctor told me that it was water retention... I am in shock.. has this happened to anyone else within one week??

I heard that your body doesn't really gain weight the last few weeks, but in the last two weeks i've gained almost 9 pounds. UGHHHH

I didn't gain any weight in the last 2 weeks, but weeks 37 and 38 I gained 10 lbs.

I was just talking to my mom, and she told me that she gained 7 lbs. each week in her last two weeks when she was pregnant with me. She said that it was all gone before she left the hospital.
