Prayers needed for a friend's LO - Warning: SAD STORY
A friend of mine from college was driving through our town on Sunday afternoon with her family when a truck collided with their van head-on, trying to make an illegal turn. The truck driver killed my friend Kelli, who was in her 3rd trimester with her second baby. The baby could not be saved either. She and I were the same age, both have DS that are the same age (2) and are pg with our second now. This is really hard to stomach.
Her son Layton was also in the van and is in the hospital, but has lost both his mother and sibling. As young as he is, he just doesn't understand what has happened and really misses his mommy.
Please pray for their family as they move through the next few weeks, recovering from such a terrible loss and pray for Layton that he finds some peace...

wow how sad! I am so sorry for your loss and for the family of your friend. I can not even imagine. T&P's that you all get through this hard time and for her little guy too!
