My best friends mother (acutally my maid-of-honor's mother) told DH and I Friday night that she didn't want to see any little "our-last-names" running around soon.  She thought that wouldn't be any good.  GAH I hate that.

I bought a maternity sweater today to spite her- a girl can be hopeful.  And honestly- It doesn't look maternity, and thats not even why I first grabbed it- its simply cute!

 Any one else have anything else to share?

    Why do people have to be that way? My MIL always drops little hints like "...in the very distant future if you guys ever decide you can handle children..." What is that supposed to mean?

    My husband's stepmom says crap like that to me all the time because I'm only 20 and she didn't have her first until she was 31. I hate her opinions on everything so I tune her out. I can't wait to see the look on her face when I finally get pregnant. She is also so obsorbed in her career and "girl trips" that she only sees her daughter maybe an hour a day and needs two nannies and a babysitter to get her ready for school and off to her "activities". If maturity is her issue she should have waited longer because she doesn't have it.

    Sorry your friend's mom is such a cow. That's a pretty rude thing to say regardless of the reason.
