I really do, cause it never fails something happens. I get off work, run to Target and am so excited I find 600 thread count sheets, queen size, on clearance for $17 (score). So happy on way home, only to blow out my tire on a manhole cover because they're doing construction on my street. Make that definitely one tire, possibly 2. Do the car gods really think I throw up money (sorry for the picture :-) ). Now I have to wait for DH to get home tomorrow morning before I can even go to work. Ugh! Vent over. Anyone else need a money tree? Is so, what for? Cause I need 4 frickin new tires :-(

For 1 tire, I think I'd cry. Worse part for me is I have very specific expensive tires, I can only imagine.

Ugh, I totally need a money tree. Some dipsh!t backed into our new (to us, we've only had it a year but it's a 2006) car a couple months ago and never left any information. They caused over $1000 in damage and we have no recourse. Our insurance deductible is $500, but we'd lose our "good driver discount" - tell me how that happens when I wasn't even in the car!! GRRRR!
Also, our furnace motor sh!t out (I think that's what happened), so we might need a new furnace. We have to call about that tomorrow. And DH's crown fell out, so he needs a tooth implant that is going to cost upwards of $1500 AFTER insurance!
So yeah, anytime someone wants to plant a money tree in my front yard is fine by me!!
Hope nobody's expecting Christmas presents because ALL of DH's bonus will be going towards bills! UGH!!
ETA: *Takes a breath and remembers to be grateful that we HAVE a car, we HAVE a home, we HAVE insurance, and we HAVE jobs.*

You don't need to be in the car. Some drunk moron crashed into 10 cars before coming to a crashing stop into the side of my dad's parked van (hit it so hard, he moved in onto the sidewalk), totaled it. Of course he had no driver's license, was driving his cousin's car, which had no insurance and he had open alcohol in the car. Want to know what happened to him?....Not a damn thing and my dad was stuck with no car. But I completely agree with your end response. Though i'm ticked beyond anything and don't know where the money is going to come from, I'm grateful for the same things you said. Lottery anyone?
I thought so too, super excited and...I got a $24 pillow on clearance for $4, why did the tire have to go mess that up, lol
