Trying to Get Pregnant
If I get KU this month....
the baby will be due in July. The same month our son was born in 2009. I'm slightly worried about this because
A.) Slightly expensive to have two birthdays in one month. With hosting the parties, gifts and such.
B.) Pressure is on to make sure that everything is equal since there birthdays would be so close---in later years they will be comparing who got what.
C.) I don't want to be in the hospital during his birthday.
D.) I don't want them to have the same birthday. I want them both to have a day of their very own to celebrate.
On the plus side....
We could make it into a "birthday month" and do something special every day.
Maybe we only make babies due in July? 
I just can't wait to be pregnant again so the sooner the better!

Wow. A year to the day? Glad to hear you didn't have any jealousy issues. I guess that is my biggest concern. I love the two cakes idea. If I am lucky enough to get pregnant again in October-- I might steal that idea. Thanks.

I don't have experience with birthday's in the same month but my poor mom had birthday to celebrate for our family almost every month (yes we had a large family).
March, April, June, (2) in July, August, September, October, December

I kind of see where you are coming from. My SIL's were all born within the 3 weeks of eachother and they hated it growing up.
I might skip over the month of November so I don't end up with another July baby, but I haven't decided yet. It seems so petty, but it has crossed my mind too.

I have the same concerns you do, but like one poster said, just shooting for getting pg. I really like your idea of a b-day month.. that is an awsome idea. Good luck to you and lots of BD...
I get that you guys just want a happy healthy baby- truely I do. Infact, most of us here want just that- a happy heathly baby. Period. But I think this gal was just trying to be kind of optimistic and toss around ideas. Sure she might be worried about having two children in July- But did you notice why? She's worried about how her firstborn will feel about it. Try to cut her a break here. I don't think she said anything too horrible.
Lol. I would love a July because the child would be born close to my half birthday. There, does that make me bad? No.

Seriously? Read closer. I think I have cause for concern. But heck! That isn't stopping us. The sooner I get pregnant-if it happens-- the better. I'm worred about jealousy concerns.
Oh I'm relaxed. In fact, I couldn't BE more relaxed. Hopefully you ladies won't be here long but if you are, then lets revisit this in about a year and see if you've gained any perspective in that time.
Pespective? Really? I suggest getting some. No offense but I was JUST letting out my concerns. Trust me when I say that all I wish is for a healthy pg and healthy baby also. My jealousy concerns with son are valid ones.

Don't you worry about me and my perspective I have more than enough. I'm sorry if you think this is flaming or drama. Everyone put in their 2 cents, and if you don't like the responses, then next time when you post something asking a question, tell them what you want the answer to be. Apparently you only wanted to hear people that agreed with you.

Well, let me just say that after 3.5 years of TTC, a c/p, an IVF and 2 FETs later I really didn't care what month my babies would be born. I am just thrilled to be pregnant. Hell, it's quite possible that the twins will be born on our anniversary!
Raise your kids right and you won't have any competition or ill feelings for siblings having to share a bday month.
Got it. Next time I will post " I am worried that if we get pregnant in October than our next child will born in the same month as our first. I just worry about their birthdays being close together (amid the worry is total happiness and excitement) ONLY reply if you know someone who has had an experience with birthdays in the same month and share your ideas."

Let me clarify that the month my next child is born in really doesn't matter at all. Just looking at the "what if's." and hoping and praying that this July we will be celebrating two birthdays!
