Acid Reflux and Breastfeeding

I was recently diagnosed with acid reflux and am breastfeeding. I am due back to see the doctor in a few weeks and he said he will probably prescribe medication if it does not get any better. Has anyone ever experienced this while breastfeeding and were you prescribed a medication that was compatible with breastfeeding?

    I had to take Zantac while I was pregnant and that was fine, I'm sure it's fine for bf'ing too.  Just let your doctor know you're bf'ing and they'll prescribe something that's okay.
